Republicans Love The Trumpists-- Normal Americans Hate Them

"DeRailing The GOP" by Nancy Ohanian-- Kristi Noem, Ron Johnson, Mad Cawthorn, Lauren Boebert, Andrew Clyde, Matt Gaetz, Josh Hawley, Marjorie Traitor Greene, Gym Jordan, Kevin McCarthy

This morning, Señor Trumpanzee made it clear-- again-- that he insists that congressional Republicans sabotage the 100% conservative-- so called "bipartisan"-- infrastructure proposal. Banned by social media platforms because of his consistent and dangerous lying, Trump e-mailed a statement ranting and raving that "Senate Republicans are being absolutely savaged by Democrats on the so-called 'bipartisan' infrastructure bill. Mitch McConnell and his small group of RINOs wants nothing more than to get a deal done at any cost to prove that he can work with the Radical Left Democrats. It is so important to him that he is agreeing to almost anything. Don't do the infrastructure deal, wait until after we get proper election results in 2022 or otherwise, and regain a strong negotiating stance. Republicans, don’t let the Radical Left play you for weak fools and losers!"

Senate Republicans are in no position to rebuke or rebut him, after years of coddling his disingenuous, self-serving take on governance. And a poll from his polling firm, Fabrizio, Lee, shows him far more popular and respected than any of them. The firm reported this morning that they die-hard Trumpists-- even the most extreme and laughable-- are more popular among Republicans than mainstream conservative leaders in Congress like McConnell and McCarthy.

Republican voters, polled July 6-8 found high net favorability for extremists and low favorability for establishment Republicans:

  • Donald Trump, Jr. +55%

  • Ron DeSantis +54%

  • Kevin McCarthy +24%

  • Matt Gaetz +17%

  • Marjorie Traitor Greene +8%

  • Mitch McConnell +2%

  • Liz Cheney -43%

A more professional poll, among all registered found that voters across party lines, McCarthy has a 22% approval and 42% disapproval rating and McConnell has a the same pitiful approval but a shockingly bad 57% disapproval rating-- both in heavy net negative territory. Asked who they prefer for president, Republicans still overwhelmingly favor Trumpanzee:

And without Trumpanzee in the race, the half dozen frontrunners are all extremists and radicals:

In the most recent Morning Consult poll for Politico, these were the net favorable ratings among registered voters for prominent GOP leaders:

  • Mitch McConnell- minus 27%

  • Republicans in Congress- minus 15%

  • Kevin McCarthy- minus 14%

  • Señor Trumpanzee- minus 10%

  • Mike Pence- minus 6%

Texas state Rep. Matt Schaefer is an extremist imbecile from Tyler (part of Louie Gohmert's congressional district, just to give me an idea of who the voters are). He seems to care about 3 things: women's choice (he's against it), the LGBTQ community (he's against it) and freedom of gun insanity (he's for it). In pushing an anti-choice position, he defended his extremism by using an argument a progressive could easily use: "FACT: Even the Taliban oppose abortion." The Republican Party really is on it's own planet, living its own reality. Democrats should stop running as the lesser of two evils party, dump conservatism and corporatism and start running as a party proud of its progressive heritage.

truth repudiated by nonsense at the end. sheeesh!

"normal" americans"? what does that mean? I mean, you seem to think that all who are not the nazi third of voters are "normal".

But another third of americans are not nazis but STILL vote for democraps, making them provably the dumbest humans to ever exist. I mean, voting for 2 generations AGAINST everything that the Democrats stood for and accomplished? Just because they are NOT the nazis?

The remaining third regularly refuse to vote. Based on issue polling it is an inference to call them "normal", and only if normal means having the sentience to know not to vote against their interests.

So... are "normal" americans (that hate nazis) the ones…
