Oh, Those Whacky, Cracky Republicans— What The Hell Is Wrong With Them!

I’m sure you remember reading about America’s moral guardians Christian and Bridget Ziegler a couple months ago when they had their moment in the national spotlight. He was the chairman of the Florida “Don’t Say Gay” Republican Party and she was the sex-crazed co-founder of Moms for Liberty, one of Trump’s fascist spin-off MAGA group concerned about dirty books in schools and libraries. (There has been a lot of talk that Bridget had a sexual relationship with her political benefactor, Ron DeSantis… but no photos have turned up— yet.)

Anyway… on Friday, the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, their hometown newspaper, published a story that Mom’s for Liberty probably want blocked from schools and libraries about how the Zieglers would prowl the bars of Florida hunting for random sex partners. A series of texts between Bridget and Christian have turned up ghat included Bridget directing Christian to “search of someone they were both interested in having sex with. In the conversations, Christian would secretly take pictures of women in bars and send them to Bridget for approval. She suggested he pretend to take pictures of his beer to not get caught by the women he was photographing. ‘Don't come home until your dick is wet,’ Bridget directed her husband, according to the memo.”

Is there a Republican you know who this doesn’t describe? Speaking of which… Happy Birthday to another GOP sex pervert, rapist and all-around Viagra predator, Rudy G. America’s Mayor celebrated his 80th birthday on Friday in Palm Beach, a week early. Unfortunately for Rudy, one of the guests tipped off the Arizona Attorney General’s office and two officials showed up late last night and served him with the subpoena he’s been avoiding for a month. Caught like a rat! The NY Post reported this morning that “Some partygoers started screaming and one woman even cried as Giuliani was served.” He’s being charged with plotting the illegally overturn the Arizona presidential election. Giuliani was the last of the 18 defendants in the case to be served in the indictment that was returned by a grand jury last month, Arizona. Steve Bannon and Roger Stone were guests at the party GOP consultant Caroline Wren threw for the alcoholic old pervert. No one knows why Bannon isn’t in prison.

The officials waited until after the cake was served before serving the papers. After he was served, Giuliani got in his car and left. Sad way to end an 80th birthday party. Let’s hope if he has an 81st is celebrated behind bars.

Slightly more serious… Moscow Marge’s latest media-craving antics. Amped upon metabolic steroids, as usual, the Georgia body-builder and QAnon lunatic-turned MAGAt, disrupted a House Oversight Committee meeting with one of her typically racist attacks on another member, Jasmine Crockett, who has the brains and wit Greene so obviously lacks. Oddly, Greene, who is kind of ugly (“bleach blond, bad built, butch body”), even for a Republican, attacked Crockett’s looks, even though many people say Crockett is the best-looking member of Congress.

AOC said the outburst wasn’t random but part of a “structured GOP outcome.” Talia Jane reported that “During the Thursday night meeting, MTG spontaneously launched into a bizarre line of questioning at her Democratic colleagues, asking if any of them employ the daughter of Judge Juan Merchan, a favored attack from Trump that landed him a gag order that conservative politicians have been intentionally circumventing during his hush-money trial. Democratic Representative Jasmine Crockett asked Greene, whose comments had derailed the hearing, ‘Do you know what we’re here for?’ In response, Greene insulted Crockett’s appearance, saying ‘I don’t think you know what you’re here for. I think your fake eyelashes are messing up what you’re reading.’ Greene’s attack prompted a response from Ocasio-Cortez, who admonished the far-right loudmouth and unsuccessfully moved to have Greene’s comments struck, calling Greene’s rhetoric ‘absolutely unacceptable.’ The following day, Ocasio-Cortez took to Twitter to break down how Greene’s outburst overshadowed— and aided— what Ocasio-Cortez describes as a ‘microcosm of what authoritarians do on a larger scale.’”

Politico reported that James Comer, the Kentucky doofus who chairs the committee, “seemed confused as ranking member Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) appeared to try and stifle a laugh. ‘Uh, what now?’ Comer asked. ‘I have no idea what you just said.’ Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) clapped back that the freshman Democrat was ‘out of control’ and told her to ‘calm down.’ ‘Don’t tell me to calm down,’ Crockett said. ‘If I come and talk shit about her, y’all gonna have a problem.’ At another point in the heated back-and-forth, AOC called Greene’s comment to Crockett ‘absolutely unacceptable— how dare you attack the physical appearance of another person?’ ‘Are your feelings hurt? Awww,’ Greene replied. ‘Why don’t you debate me?’ Ocasio-Cortez then replied: ‘I think it’s pretty self-evident.’ And Greene responded: ‘Yeah, you don’t have enough intelligence,’ prompting another request to take the formal step of taking down a record of the personal attack. When the committee voted to let Greene keep speaking after the lengthy verbal scuffle, Lauren Boebert (R-CO)— who has her own rocky relationship with the Georgian— voted with Democrats. On Friday morning, members weren't over the embarrassing scene. They lamented how the hearing unfolded the night before, and both Republicans and Democrats acknowledged some members had been drinking that evening. Some Democrats saw racial motivation behind Greene's attack on Crockett. ‘There's no question that Marjorie Taylor Greene uses racist language all the time,’ said Robert Garcia (D-CA). ‘Jasmine Crockett is a class act— she pushed back when she was pushed multiple times.’”

One member of the committee told me, in confidence, that Moscow Marge was noticeably drunk. That's a real problem because she is already hormonally imbalanced from the steroids. The combination with excessive drinking almost always leads to anxiety, heightened irritability, aggressive behavior (and, obviously, impaired judgment).

"she was the sex-crazed..." "...another GOP sex pervert..." Hypocrisy bashing is fine, but kink-shaming sucks.

What's wrong with THEM?!?!? What's wrong with the shithole that they can't seem to defeat them?

THEY didn't make it a shithole. It first became a shithole... where evil motherfuckers like that CAN be and ARE elected with regularity. Also where nobody seems to stand up for anything GOOD!
