All of America’s enemies— Russia, China, Iran, Israel, the Saudis— are doing what they can to help elect the incompetent, deranged Trump but on Monday The Atlantic published an essay by McKay Coppins on why Europe fears a Trump victory in November. First and foremost, Trump is eager to hand Russia its biggest foreign policy victory since the defeat of Napoleon in 1812: the weakening, if not dissolution, of NATO. “In capitals across the continent— from Brussels to Berlin, Warsaw to Tallinn— leaders and diplomats expressed a sense of alarm bordering on panic,” wrote Coppins, “at the prospect of Donald Trump’s reelection.” Yesterday, reporting for the Financial Times, Martin Wolf wrote “We are entering a period of resurgent nationalism, xenophobia & authoritarianism. As Oscar Wilde might have remarked, ‘To elect Donald Trump as president once may be regarded as a misfortune; to elect him twice looks like carelessness.’” Coppins had already quoted American neo-Con Victoria Nuland: “Foreign counterparts would say it to me straight up. ‘The first Trump election— maybe people didn’t understand who he was, or it was an accident. A second election of Trump? We’ll never trust you again.’”
On the other hand, Jonathan Swan, Maggie Haberman and Charlie Savage reported that MAGA extremists have a very different perspective: Fight Fire With Fire. Señor T’s allies, they wrote “are calling for revenge prosecutions and other retaliatory measures against Democrats in response to his felony conviction in New York. Within hours of a jury finding Trump guilty last week, the anger congealed into demands for action. Since then, prominent GOP leaders in and out of government have demanded that elected Republicans use every available instrument of power against Democrats, including targeted investigations and prosecutions. The intensity of anger and open desire for using the criminal justice system against Democrats after the verdict surpasses anything seen before in Trump’s tumultuous years in national politics. What is different now is the range of Republicans who are saying retaliation is necessary and who are no longer cloaking their intent with euphemisms.”
[Neo Nazi] Stephen Miller… blared out a directive on Fox News after a jury found Trump guilty of falsifying financial records to cover up a 2016 campaign hush-money payment to a porn actress. Miller posed a series of questions to Republicans at every level, including local district attorneys.
“Is every House committee controlled by Republicans using its subpoena power in every way it needs to right now?” he demanded. “Is every Republican D.A. starting every investigation they need to right now?”
“Every facet of Republican Party politics and power has to be used right now to go toe-to-toe with Marxism and beat these Communists,” Miller said, using the catchall slurs Trump allies routinely use against Democrats.
Stephen Bannon, the former chief strategist to Trump, said in a text message to the New York Times on Tuesday that now was the moment for obscure Republican prosecutors around the country to make a name for themselves by prosecuting Democrats.
Bannon was convicted in a federal prosecution for failing to comply with a congressional subpoena in the Jan. 6 investigation, and faces trial in September in a New York state court— before the same judge who oversaw Trump’s trial— in a charity fraud case.
“There are dozens of ambitious backbencher state attorneys general and district attorneys who need to ‘seize the day’ and own this moment in history,” Bannon wrote.
And Senator Marco Rubio of Florida, the top Republican on the Senate Intelligence Committee who is[n’t really] in contention to be Trump’s running mate, wrote on Twitter that President Biden was “a demented man propped up by wicked & deranged people” and it was now time to “fight fire with fire— using flame emojis to represent the fire.
Rubio is hardly the only Florida Republican to have given up on decency and given up on America. Yesterday Democratic congressional candidate Thomas Witkop was aghast at how extreme Brian Mast had turned in just a few years, now just a lockstep MAGAt. “We need more politicians who think independently for the good of the people, rather than politically based on what their party demands. Mast recently sent out an email that started with a seal that said ‘Official Team Trump’ with a golden portrait of Donald Trump, further indicating his allegiance to a party over the people. He's also made clear his ambitions of working in the White House rather than staying in Florida's 21st congressional district. That contrasts to me because I'm not ‘Official Team Trump.’ I'm official team ‘People of America’ and I don't want to work in the White House. I want to represent my home and the constituents who live here.”

I believe that God has protected him and has made President Trump into a warrior who is fighting for us for such a time as this. I certainly know that President Trump is not the Messiah, but throughout the Bible, a perfect God has used many imperfect men to do great things for his kingdom. We are in a battle between good and evil and I believe that God has chosen President Trump to push back against the evil in our country and the evil in this world. President Trump is ‘The Chosen One.’”
The press release also boasts she been promoted with “appearances on Fox News, Newsmax, OAN, Huckabee, Real America’s Voice, War Room with Steve Bannon, the Eric Metaxas Show, Lindell TV with Mike Lindell, CNN, Al Jezeera and HLN, among others.”
