She Also Has The Idiots Back In Georgia Who Voted For Her Behind Her
Having obviously lost the protection of Señor Trumpanzee, MAGA Mike Johnson is backing away from his promised presentation of his Ukraine aid proposal. The plan— which has been credibly reported to include using seized Russian assets for Ukrainian aid, making some aid a “soft” loan (that doesn’t have to be repaid) and overturning Biden’s ban of new gas export permits— doesn’t have enough support to pass yet.
As of two weeks ago, Ken Buck is a Colorado former congressman. Fewer and fewer people will care what he has to say as time goes on. But right now, the media is still paying attention and willing to platform him. And Monday he got some attention by taking a swing at his always controversial ex-colleague, Marjorie Traitor Greene, who he referred to as “Moscow Marge” (something, by the way, the DWT art director has been doing for a year). CNN’s Erin Burnett asked him to respond to Kevin McCarthy’s silly praise Traitor Greene, who he called “very serious legislator.” Buck didn’t seem sure where he wanted to go with that but noted that his “experience with Marjorie is, people have talked to her about not filing articles of impeachment on President Biden before he was sworn into office, on not filing articles of impeachment that were groundless made on other individuals in the Biden administration. And she was never moved by that. She was always focused on her social media account. And Moscow Marjorie is focused now on this Ukraine issue and getting her talking points from the Kremlin and making sure that she is popular and she is getting a lot of coverage.”
Here, get to know the lying, manipulative Georgia sociopath who Buck was referring to— and her crackpot supporters— a little better. This is why America feels like its falling apart:
Meanwhile, the NY Times reported yesterday that Traitor Greene is escalating her threat against MAGA Mike, something she would never do without Trump’s express encouragement. She sent a letter to her colleagues. Annie Karni described the 5-page missive as “scathing,” making the case for teh removal of MAGA Mike and taking her colleagues “to task for tolerating his leadership... She accused him of fecklessly advancing President Biden’s agenda and wasting opportunities to advance GOP priorities. Greene warned her colleagues that they risked falling out of touch with their voters if they continued to accept what she called ‘a complete and total surrender’ by Republicans under Johnson... If these actions by the leader of our conference continue, then we are not a Republican Party— we are a uniparty that is hellbent on remaining on the path of self-inflicted destruction. I will neither support nor take part in any of that, and neither will the people we represent.” Not a single Republican member has, at least publicly, backed her vacate the chair resolution. Sounds exactly like:
a- Trump
b- an attempt to please Putin
c- what she had to say to her moron supporters in the video above
Her intensified threat came at a tricky time for Johnson, who has said he will soon bring up an emergency national security spending package that includes aid to Ukraine, something that has enraged the [Russo-Republican] far right. He is also planning to hold a set of tough votes this week on legislation to renew a warrantless surveillance program that many in his party oppose.
In the letter, Greene ticked through the many instances since Johnson took the gavel five months ago when he has negotiated with Democrats on major legislation— including multiple federal spending bills to prevent the government from shutting down and the annual defense bill to ensure American troops receive a pay raise— and cut deals she called a betrayal of Republican values. His actions have “angered our Republican base so much and given them very little reason to vote for a Republican House majority,” she wrote.
And she condemned members of her party, adding, “If we win the House this fall, it will only be because President Trump is on the ballot, not because we have earned it.”
Much of her criticism stemmed from Johnson’s decision last month to push through a $1.2 trillion bipartisan government spending bill— one that passed with a majority of Republicans voting against it— that prompted Greene to file the resolution calling for Johnson’s removal.
… “Fully funding abortion, the trans agenda, the climate agenda, foreign wars and Biden’s border crisis is not ‘ensuring liberty, opportunity and security for all Americans,’” she wrote, quoting from a list of Johnson’s key priorities upon taking the post.
She also slammed Johnson for failing to defund what she called a “witch hunt” by Jack Smith, the special counsel who is prosecuting Trump for trying to overturn the 2020 election and for mishandling classified documents. Taken together, she said, those would result in a “death sentence” for Trump.
“They want him dead,” Greene said of Democrats, “and our power of appropriations could have stopped it, but Speaker Johnson didn’t even try.”
Yep… lie after lie and Trump priority after Trump priority. Who actually wrote the letter? Certainly not the barely literate Traitor Greene— but was it one of her staffers or someone at Mar-a-Lago (or Moscow)? “Greene’s letter,” wrote Karni, “appeared aimed largely at making the speaker squirm over the Ukraine aid bill, which he has agonized over— first refusing to take it up but more recently bowing to entreaties by Biden, Democrats, other Republicans and world leaders to do so. ‘Mike Johnson is publicly saying funding Ukraine is now his top priority when less than seven months ago he was against it,’ Ms. Greene wrote. ‘The American people disagree— they believe our border is the only border worth fighting a war over, and I agree with them.’ For months, Greene has been calling the Ukraine measure her ‘red line’ for ousting the speaker. Last week, in an interview with the right-wing media host Tucker Carlson, Greene wondered aloud whether Johnson was being blackmailed to bring it up, ‘because he’s completely disconnected with what we want.’”
I can’t stand spending time in the weeds with these traitorous, ignorant, stupid assholes. Life is too short. The Blue Wave may be a tsunami in November. Fingers crossed. I think abortion and women’s rights will do it.
