I'm sure the sicko sadistic Governor Abbott that Texans have elected precisely because he shares their psychopathology didn't really want to line the Rio Grande with razor wire barrel traps and just plain spools of razor wire strung along the river and right down the middle of the river right below the surface. I mean, he professes to be a Christian, right? What kind of Christian would resort to that? Besides, he counts on the votes of Christians just like him.
And therein lies the crux of the matter. When Christianity and Republicanism meet up and merge, Republican Jesus happens; no loaves and fishes from this guy! Just plenty of blood and fleshy gore! The more the better! How's that for a Republican sacrement!
