I'm trying to remember when the phrase 'Town Hall' had at least some sort of hint of something positive, but I can't. It seems so long ago now. Like so much else in our lives, the GOP has sucked out the joy like some monstrous lamprey or leech. Now I hear the phrase 'Town Hall' and the first image that comes to my mind is either a KKK cross burning or a clogged and backed up public toilet in the seediest bus terminal in the world.
