The saddest thing is that it's not an act at all and Republican voters repeat everything their two top leaders (shown above) say as though it's their list of mantras, which it is.
And while we're at it, let's drop this dumbass bullshit that MAGA-Republicans and Republicans are two distinctly different things. Do the polls and vote totals show any difference? Absolutely not. They all want Trump, so what's the difference? If it votes like a Nazi, it's a Nazi.
