Sunday Thoughts
by Noah
Those of us who've lived in New York City long enough have always seen the signs of where this is going; those of us among the sentient at least. We New Yorkers have seen a man, a mutant creature really, who craves attention and adulation far, far beyond the borders of any reason. We have seen a man who openly displays his hatred for non-white people, and we've seen a man who emblazons his name in gold (fake) on ostentatious buildings as if trying to view himself as some Egyptian pharaoh from long ago. Such men rarely end well. The only question is how many people they end up destroying along the way. Sometimes, when the mental illness is severe enough, it's a whole country. What will it be, this time? We shall see that answer. Or, more precisely, some of us will live to know it.
A storm is coming.
Yes Noah. I fear for us all. I can’t look at the news.
How many they destroy? Well, to them, those they destroy are not really human beings, after all. So who cares?
