Your Saturday Cartoon: Those Who Support Them Are Accessories To Murder
by Noah
There's been a lot of talk lately about which of the parties is promoting death and violence but, in addition to what the above cartoon is referencing, let's never forget that women have started dying at the hands of the Republican dominated Supreme Court that Trump controls now that he holds a majority with the people he and his pal Moscow Mitch placed there. The dying began as soon as the post Dobbs restrictions went into effect. That's more than just rhetoric, it's action and every Senator that voted to confirm Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett has Amber Thurman's blood and the blood of the other women who've died because of the Dobbs decision and subsequent state laws on their hands. The investigations into the deaths of these women take about two years so we are only now starting to find out the names of the women the Robert's court has murdered. By 2026, it will be a long list. You want your rhetoric, Trump? I've got it right here. F-you! And the tens of millions of voters you rode in on!
How's my real weaving going so far? Trump may claim to be a master of "the weave," but no one's better than me! People are saying!
Let me give a special shout out to an evil little dipshit named Susan Collins. A person as evil as her must be very proud and I wouldn't want her to think I'm not giving her at least some little bit of Moscow Mitch's limelight. I also don't want to slight the Bush Family's role in this. Like Señor Trumpanzee, they gave us three misogynistic mass murderers, too. In the cases of at least two of the three, they even had a little support from some key Dems, but that was then and I've discussed that more than a few times. The point of this post, though, is the now and near future. Trump made the crucial difference and, if he's re-elected or manages to overthrow the election, he will get to appoint even more mass murderers of women. He's probably already having imaginary conversations in his wormed out tiny brain with Hannibal Lecter, Josef Mengele, Ted Bundy, and Jack The Ripper about appointing them to the GOP's Dream Supreme Court. This is how it is, folks.
The Repugs and their party of nothing but human misery, terror, and death are every bit as guilty in the death of Amber Thurman as they are guilty in the deaths of the people who died as a result of their attempted coup on 1/6/21. I wonder what Amber's 6 year old son will grow up to think of those Republican senators. If it was me, I would know the names of every one of them. I bet he'll have some rhetoric.
There will be more and more women dying unless, come 2025, we have Kamala Harris in the White House and she has enough Democratic senators who will actually vote to nationally codify a woman's right to choose. She may not be perfect but the choice is clear, very clear. As I was coming of age politically, I quickly learned that there is little or nothing we can do about the bottom line of our foreign policies. LBJ and Nixon were essentially no different on that, and Eisenhower had warned us about the threat of the Military Industrial Complex. Did LBJ and Nixon listen? Nope. Did they even want to? Doubtful. With those two, any differences were/are in the domestic policies of who got and gets elected, not the foreign policies. Elections readily matter, especially when you're talking about court appointments. We can affect that much more easily than who we bomb or allow to be bombed.
Addendum: A brainwormed moron named Sean Hannity of FOX-Pravda is claiming that the two a-hole lunatics who may or may not have intended to blow Traitor Don's head off were democrats. Not true of course. The dead one was a registered Republican. The more recent one voted for Trump but has also voted for Nikki Haley and Vivek Ramswamy. Don't worry Sean, I'm sure the Russian bank has already transferred the funds to you. And, hey, when you get a chance, let us know why your buddy Donnie's earlobe has no holes or scar tissue.
