Midnight Meme Of The Day! The Courts Rally Around Trump

Your Saturday Cartoon

by Noah

Yep, there ya go. Ultimate abdication of responsibility. The courts are designating their own assassin and, whether they'll ever admit it or not, the inevitable target is us, all of us.

Some people might be shocked and amazed that our courts go so much out of their way to appease and accommodate America's #1 threat to our national security, not me. It's horrifying and runs counter to everything we learn in school from our earliest years but that was all to keep us in line, not the courts, those who own them, and those they so obviously favor. Aileen Cannon, Georgia, the Roberts Court; it's all the same at the bottom line despite any shell game permutations. The so-called reasoning is nothing but a level of parsing that anyone with the intellect of a 4 or 5 year old can do. In fact, it's so bad now that we not only have a two-tiered system of justice, we have a third tier just for Donald Trump.

The Supreme Court and the rest of our farcical justice system can say all they want about deciding whether their boy gets immunity but they've already given him a ton of that with their endless delays, delays that are designed to be permanent if Trump gets elected or somehow seizes power. Dear Leader Trump talks about not being able to campaign due to the cases he has brought upon himself but, in fact, he is campaigning from court every day he's in court, not just when he sits there crapping in his pants all day (How's that for a perfect metaphor for what Republicans think of America?) but especially when he steps outside the building at the end of each day's session. He knows this is all he really needs. If he thought he needed more, he would hold his rallies on the days that court isn't in session and on the weekends, too. But, with only extremely rare exceptions, he doesn't. Instead, he gets on his plane and goes to Mar-a-Lago and, if he does anything at all, it's just a "give us this day our daily grift" session for his billionaire Nazi pals. "Psst, wanna buy an NFT?" He'll be selling blow-up sex dolls custom made to look like his daughter before you know it, and he won't even claim to have a dead worm in his brain.

The ugly example of this bad behavior from the courts and the object of their clear affection is setting for the rest of us will exponentially grow for decades as generation after generation will follow this lead knowing the system can't catch everyone. The pardoning of Nixon sent a bad enough message to every kid who went through school in the 70's and 80s. You think today's message isn't being received loud and clear?

Ok Hater. Let's play reading comprehension.

Need I parse it further? Or does the nixon pardon mentioned not refer to the general shit show that the first sentence implies?

In fact the first sentence is a lie because the system COULD catch nearly everyone. It jus…

Guestcrapper, I don't see anyone saying anything started with Nixon in the above post, only that the Nixon pardon sent a terrible message to youth about law and order being ignored. Reading your willful agenda into it doesn't make it so. The Nixon pardon was also much more visible than Johnson's failure and was for many years. Johnson's failure to act wasn't even visible to youngsters in the 1970s and 80s. The Nixon pardon was a direct highly publicized affront, not a hidden one like Johnson's failure to act. A direct act on Nixon's behalf by Ford. A failure to act by Johnson. The Nixon pardon was totally out in the open. Johnson's failure was behind the closed doors of…

Replying to

so you're defending the cowardice of your pussy democraps by pointing out that this author SAID that it started with the Ford pardon? And you are a lawyer? Seriously, you should work for trump. He'd get convicted easier with a strategery like that.

But... Ok. fine. What about reagan's treason? What about FL in 2000? What about Gore gaveling down the CBC challenge to the count? What about cheney's treason. What about w's war crimes? what about the treason and myriad of other crimes of trump (since about 1964)?

Every time you bitch about trump being out free to violate gag orders and generally act like an insane dipshit... you condemn your own party for refusing to put that shit…

Yeah... what I been sayin'? The refusal to enforce gag orders... Good observation about that 3rd tier of immunity just for trump.

And it didn't start with nixon's pardon. It started with LBJ pussying out on prosecuting nixon for treason in '68. That particular precedent has been religiously adhered to ever since by your pussy democraps. So it isn't just the judiciary. It's also those tasked with actually, you know, enforcing the constitution and laws and shit. Even good judges cannot hear a case that is never brought.

And who is responsible for the pussies who are elected and re-elected but never do their fucking jobs? Why, it's all of YOU.

So here we are at the source of the…
