Just look at the group of armpit scratchers that's pictured above. Genus, certainly not genius, Homo Republicanis. Can there be any doubt that remnant populations of our distant ancient relatives are not so distant after all and still walk among us? For instance, take a good look at the second one from the right. Take a look at that expression, not exactly chimp-like but damn close! Chimpanzees aren't our ancestors but we share a common link down through time somewhere around 6 or 7 million years ago. We even share nearly all, 98.8% of the same DNA.
The one I've pointed out, who goes by the name Gym? I'll just take a wild guess and say that since he can, more or less, speak the same language as a normal, fully developed homo sapien, shares an amount of DNA just north of 99%. The others in the picture? Well, hard to say. Some just a fraction more, maybe, but that's a big maybe. I mean, some of them may be the first in their families to not live in trees. At least that's how they act. Little Gymmie? You know how people who keep chimps as pets (not a good idea, by the way) have them running around the house in a diaper? Well, Gymmie appears to be a tiny step above that. His masters have at least been able to get him to tolerate wearing a shirt, too, but he sure doesn't go for a jacket! At least we can say that we know he loves showers.
Sadly, not true. Earlier humans elected Lincoln as a republican; TR, FDR and JFK. Even LBJ did some very nice things. But nobody since has been worth a damn. And the vector since 1968 has been steeply downward with no end in sight.
This probably indicates that mankind NOW is far dumber than mankind even 60 years ago.
