It seems impossible to me that a person could have a significant other that's a Trump Nazi. Is it a case of self-esteem cratering out? Masochism? What is it? How can anyone go through life tied to a monster either directly or spiritually? What kind of power is involved. Think of the soul-crushing compromises! I've heard of people making such horrific choices. Hard to understand, but it happens. At best it seems like "irreconcilable differences." At worst, it's non-stop purgatory with a potential for violence. A real Halloween horror.
Meanwhile, I think it's only a matter of time before I see some news item about some judge literally granting a divorce based on the petitioner's spouse being a Trump nut. That, to me, should get a judge put immediately on the short list for a potential nomination to the Supreme Court. Sure beats a traitor like Aileen Cannon, doesn't it?
Addendum:
I wasn't going to add anything to tonight's post and I hadn't planned on mentioning the Republican Party's Saturday Night Nazi-Fest at Madison Square Garden again until I did my usual "Year In Review" type things in December, but I can't let it go.
First of all, shame on the people who run Madison Square Garden for inviting Trump and his Nazis into their venue en masse in the first place. They knew what it was about and they knew why Trump and his nazi crew chose the place. If they feign ignorance now, it makes them look even more suspect and ridiculous than before.
Second, many of the usual media hacks are saying that Trump has delivered an October surprise that may be backfiring on him, but, c'mon! How can anyone with even half a brain say that 19,000 Republicans gathering in one big room and ending up talking like their 1930s Nazi role models is a surprise? They give each other permission and the comfort to be themselves. The words used and the thoughts expressed are the words and thoughts used in any room where Republicans gather, whether it's 2 or 20,000. They even had a racist "comedian" open the festivities with an onslaught of racist statements, all of which the party officials approved and placed on the teleprompters so he didn't miss a word. They had the totally deranged and brain damaged former Mayor of NYC who's always been a drooling, slobbering racist a-hole. They had media David Duke impersonator Tucker Carlson. They had Proud Boys and the party's Dear Leader Trump even dressing up together in their gang colors of black and gold. They had that freak Stephen Miller who directly quoted the god of all Republicans, Adolf Hitler. They had various Trump family members including Republican Party Chairnazi Lara Trump. What else was it going to be? How else was it going to come off? All that was missing was the "Springtime For Hitler chorus line.
Perhaps the most pathetic are the Republican freaks who have spent the last many hours faux denouncing the goings on. "Not me! I'm not like that!" Right, like they were "shocked, shocked and appalled" to hear fellow Nazis say Nazi things. What a G-Damn load these scheisskopf are! The only thing such republicans are upset about is the timing, as In, "How could you so double and triple down on our creeds just 10 days before the election!!!" This is what they are. This is their truth. Tell them not to worry. We already knew but what worries them most is that now, even more people, more voters have been exposed to what their party represents and is trying to sell to the public at large.
Meanwhile, their Fuhrer Stinky Pants went to Allentown, PA yesterday to add insult to injury. It wasn't enough for him and his party guests to give an extra singling out to Puerto Rico and its people at the Nazi-Fest, he chose a city that is 30% Puerto Rican and has a Puerto Rican mayor.
So, yeah, tell the peckish crows there's plenty to go around.
