I remember Rep. Adam Schiff's "Is there one among you who will say enough?" warnings at the end of the first impeachment of Donald Trump. It was nothing that I didn't already know and, more importantly, it was nothing that the Republicans in both houses of Congress didn't already know but the difference, which was so obvious then and is even more obvious now, is that the Republicans in both houses Congress and the voters who put them there to represent their feelings saw the criminality and the assaults on our democracy and human decency itself as selling points for their Dear Leader. They can say whatever they want but the truth of what every one of them, Republican politicians and Republican voters alike, sits in how they voted. Only the bottom line counts or matters. They didn't say, "Enough! Enough!!!" They wanted more. You could see that on 1/6/21 and you can see it in the permanent smirk of Moscow Mitch McConnell.  

Fast forward to 2024: Everyday now, Trump and his party are going out of their way to make a point of doubling down on their chosen leader's most recent assault on the bounds of human decency. This time it was at Arlington Cemetery with his illegal photo-op and subsequent turning of it into a campaign commercial complete with a thumbs up over the grave of a fallen United States Marine. It takes a total psychopath to do that but what should we expect from a knuckle dragger who calls people who have sacrificed so much, many even their lives, "suckers and losers." And, don't ever forget, he said of POWs, "I like people who weren't captured." Personally, I prefer presidents who don't piss on the graves of the fallen.

Traitor Trump is a malignancy who threatens the very existence of the country yet over and over again, he flaunts the free reign he's been given to be the biggest asshole in the world. He's been given that free reign those who voted for him, by his media sycophants and by people like John Roberts and Merrick Garland who will now go through history being rightly seen as having been joined with Trump at the hips, while other lowlife enablers like William Barr and Moscow Mitch will be crying, "Why not me?" 

This kind of thing is considered normal and proper if you're some kind of typical republican freak, and more is planned. As if the actual J-6 attack wasn't enough, later this week, on the 5th, Traitor Don is holding a J-6 gala and celebration at his Bedminster mansion and golf club to raise $1,000,000 or more for his mob of red-hatted cop killers that he sent to hang his own Vice President, Mike Pence, when Pence stood up for the Constitution and refused to help him overthrow the government to set him up as "President For Life." That's right, $1,000,000 for the traitors that republicans call "tourists," "political prisoners" and "hostages." There's no end to the lunacy of these people. Only a naive fool would expect otherwise.

One wonders what the sick mind of Traitor Don is planning for next week when the anniversary of 9/11 comes up. Remember when his first reaction to the World Trade Center towers falling was that he now had the tallest building in lower Manhattan? I mean, so who cares about all those people who died and died so horribly, right? The bodies weren't even done burning; not a problem to his voters and supporters in Congress. They lined up to vote for him, twice, so far. The republican mind is a terrible thing.

So, will America's Number One Traitor and security threat have a celebration at Mar-a-Lago with some Saudi Royals and remaining members of Al Qaeda next week? Would it shock you at this point? I can imagine that he'll have Sean Hannity, Lindsey Graham, and Marjorie Traitor Green handing out gold commemorative plaques. Which one of those three tree swingers will be the keynote speaker? And, let's not forget that the day before is Traitor Don's debate with Vice President Kamala Harris. I can't help but think that he should be forced to go through a couple of the world's best metal detectors and have some poor soul do a complete body search before he gets to the stage. He should also be tested for every known contagious disease before he's even allowed in the building. Will he call for VP Harris to be hung, too? Or, will he have that North Carolina goon, Michele  Morrow, who has repeatedly said former President Obama should be hung to call for it before or during the debate? And, don't even start me talking about whatever semi-mindless corporate news goon or goons are moderating the thing.
