Trump Pardoning Manafort, Flynn, Stone... Not So Much

I know this doesn't make me unique but I've had it up to Saturn with the endless parade of media and political asswipes bitching about Hunter Biden's pardon. Through the multitudes of prejudices, technicalities, vagaries, and vulgarities of our farcical unequal justice system, Hunter Biden was looking at up to 40 years in jail for a crime that is rarely even prosecuted and was only prosecuted at all because Hunter Biden is Joe Biden's son. Without the pardon, Hunter's future would have been in the hands of The Orange Psychopath who would have his appointed goons gleefully enforce Hunter's sentence to the max and then some. This is not some sort of secret knowledge. If you or I had done the same thing, we could have had a public defender get us off with some sort of probation, a fine, a few months of community service, and sent on our way with a few coupons for a lovely salad from the courthouse vending machine. Meanwhile, the adjudicated rapist domestic terrorist leader Donald Trump would still be announcing the appointment of his newest "Favorite Rapist Of The Day," FOX "News" would be hiring another of the same, and Susan Collins would be saying either or both would make fine Supreme Court Justices. I was going to say "Susan 'Dipshit' Collins" but the latter is merely a synonym for the former so why be redundant. Call me when Hunter gets $2 Billion from the Saudi Royals for helping make the fuss about the Khashoggi murder go away.
While all this insanity is going on, a totally corrupt and traitorous Chief Justice of the Supreme Court is getting ready to administer an oath of office to an orange menace to society whose name is now synonymous with the word crime itself and the oath will be massively broken within an hour of both "men" removing their burning hands from an autographed Trump bible and said bible will then be auctioned off to the highest bidder along with the original copy of the Constitution (which will be also signed by Trump in bigger letters than John Hancock's signature) from the National Archives, just like most anything of moral, physical, or spiritual value in the rest of the country. Please also consider that, without the pardon, Hunter would have been found suicided in his cell within 3 days of arrival with a bedsheet tied around his neck. President Joe doesn't always do the right thing, far from it, but this time he did. Now, I just hope he doesn't pull some sort of Gerald Ford move and pardon Trump. Ha! Not necessary, thanks to John Roberts and his sicko band of judicial miscreants! And let's not forget Merrick Garland's role in any of this.
Addendum: Here's a suggestion for President Biden. Give the nation a big Christmas present by stepping down on December 19th. That will make Kamala Harris President Kamala Harris for a month. More importantly, it will make Kamala Harris the 47th President and turn Trump's warehouse full of 47th President commemorative hats, shirts, diapers, and shoes into even more of a pile of junk than they already are. Trump will, of course, arrange for the warehouse to burn to the ground so he can collect the insurance but I could live with that. He'll be doing a lot worse when he pardons the J-6 cop killers.
It’s ridiculous, like everything is these days. Biden did absolutely the right thing. Hunter was railroaded. Dems who complain should STFU. The Dems have a BIG problem with their “high road.” Get off it and start fighting like hell. John Dean suggested Biden should pre pardon tons of media, journalists and politicians before T goes after them. Do it Biden!!!! You can see what’s coming.

Good idea about biden stepping down. Shoulda done it when he dropped out of the race. If you're unfit to run you're unfit to keep serving. But the 47/48 thing works for me.
Couldn't care less about hunter either way. He's not 'donnie fuckup' or 'eric the imbecile', but he's no son to be proud of either. If we had a functioning society, donnie and eric would probably be in jail in the cell next to der pumpkinfuhrer. But we don't have a functioning society. And we haven't voted for one since the '60s. So we got satire instead.
