Think of all the other laptops you'd love to get your hands on! What did Hunter Biden really do? He lied about his addictions on a form needed for a gun purchase. Wrong? Yeah. However this is something that happens all day everyday in this country and never gets a charge or a trial. Ah, but this was a case of a Trump appointed prosecutor and a Democratic president's son. Say no more! To his credit, President Biden let the laws be the laws and didn't use his powers to stop the prosecution. Imagine The Diaper Don doing the same?
It's not like Hunter sold Top Secret documents or even stole them but I have to say that I like this idea that's been going around: How 'bout Democrats write up a strong national background check law so things like what Hunter did would be prosecuted much, much more frequently; not selectively, but every time! Republicans have been so adamant that Hunter Biden be charged, prosecuted and jailed that, surely, they would vote for a nice strong law that would be used against other people who do the same thing, no? Name the bill "Hunter's Law." Watch them all back away from it like it was a 25 foot anaconda.
Oh, and here's something Democrats in the $enate could do: They could follow the lead of tonight's meme and investigate Jared and Ivanka. You know, bring them in for 11 hours like Republicans did with Hillary Clinton when they held their endless Benghzi inquisition. They mustered up about 11 hearings for that one! All at the cost of our tax dollars, too! The Repugs knew it wouldn't go anywhere because there was nowhere for it to go, but, as Kevin McCarthy himself admitted, it was really all about lowering Hillary's approval ratings leading up to the 2016 election for his pals Trump and Putin. In the case of Javanka, though, there's information to find and make public. What for instance was Jared's role in protecting the Saudi royals from the blow back of the Khashoggi murder and dismemberment (or was it dismemberment and murder?). Or, what exactly is that $2 Billion for, and all the rest, of course. Is it all for a massive real estate development in Turkey or Hungary? Elsewhere? Is any of it for rehab for Don Jr.? Or dad himself? Again, nothing would happen justice wise, but getting the information out where it can be seen has its own importance and purpose. I know we, sadly, live in a world, where more people know what happens on "Judge Judy" than what happens in Washington but every little bit helps.
Oh well, funny how Washington likes to keep so much under the rug. It's almost like the people we send there fear that investigations might become so prevalent that they'll all find themselves being investigated. Which reminds me. It's getting dark and I gotta go dig up some Egyptian gold bars in my backyard now. I'm from New Jersey, you know. See ya tomorrow!
