With a hand on a holy book, the other hand (that has been convicted of groping and/or sexually assaulting women) to be held aloft for the world to observe, a small, petty, irrelevant (history will prove) man will today swear before a deaf, dumb, and blind god to uphold the constitution of the United (definitely not united) States of America. 

There is no irony to be found here. There’s no sense of normalcy ahead. One can’t even feel around and find in this moment a pulse indicative of dignity, absurdity, nor parody.

At a time such as this, as the world watches and recognizes it is being turned upside down, as it is undoubtedly doing today, all one can do is to learn how to walk on one’s hands.
