For bloggers, George Santos is like the gift that never stops giving; he’s even better than Cawthorn! He knows it… or, is overplaying it. Yesterday he doubled his price— from $75 to $150 to appear on your video greeting card. The girl is too much! He’s being rented out by Cameo. In fact… I wonder how much extra to get him to appear on the video in full drag. And does he have his own skit or do you have to write the lines for him. I’ve been suggesting Democratic candidates contact him for holiday party videos before he doubles the price again. And it looks like I'm not the only one who has figured out how to weaponize Santos. A girl’s gotta make a living! And it’s not like anyone concerned about their reputation is going to hire him for anything. There’s no lobbying firm that would dare. Mediaite reached out to cable news and reported that CNN, Fox and MSNBC all said “No way, Jose.” In fact, not even fringe right wing news services OAN and Newsmax seemed interested.
On a more serious note, odd when you think of Santos, Adam Kinzinger, another ex-congressman, though not one expelled, just railroaded out by Trump, wrote a substack a few days ago that ties Santos to Kinzinger’s arch-nemesis: Santos Expelled for Being Donald Trump. “A liar, fraud, money launderer, indicted, hanger on-er is expelled from Congress,” he wrote, “while a liar, fraud, money launderer, indicted, hanger on-er is leading the GOP race for President. This conundrum is not a conundrum at all. In fact, it’s a feature of today’s GOP.” Hmmm… maybe he’s missing a key component that wouldn't jump right out to a straight guy from Illinois. Santos is a drag queen— a bridge maybe a little too far for mucho seriouso GOP congresspeople— and Trump, as far as I know, never quite went down that path.
George Santos, the fabulouso-turned-Congressman is now a thing of the past. We know his lies from a mother who died on 9/11, to, well, I’m not even going to rehash everything. Who cares.
What matters though, is that he was following the Trump playbook. Corruption, followed by denial, followed by Peacocking (bragging, looking tough and colorful, you get the point) and finally attacking the Democrats and RINOs in the GOP. This didn’t work, and the House gets credit for booting him, although the GOP leadership showed complete cowardice and an lack of desire to defend the integrity of the institution.
The Trump playbook, however, is working for…Trump. Why? Because it’s a cult, focused on one man and devoid of any principles. Trump’s corruption is overlooked, his peacocking is seen as strength (trying to attract a mate? Well, at least attract support) and his attacks against Democrats and RINOs are not seen as pitiful, they are given as marching orders.
This weakness is dangerous, and the GOP officials need to be asked, over and over, what the difference was between the two? Maybe that is why leadership voted against expelling Santos, to avoid those awkward questions. That isn’t leadership, it’s pure cowardice.
America deserves better, whether they realize it or not.
When Santos was expelled, Blue America-endorsed L.A. congressional Maebe A Girl suggested he “sashay away.” Today I asked her how she felt about America’s only drag queen being expelled. “LGBTQIA+ people— and America in general— deserve better role models than George Santos,” she told me. “In addition to his lies and falsehoods, his support of dangerous anti-LGBTQIA+ legislation makes him a hypocrite and sellout who endangers his LGBTQIA+ peers. While I've spoken at length about the real harm that Santos is causing our community, the point still stands that we need a transgender person in Congress to fight back against the hundreds of anti-trans bills moving through state legislatures each year. The LGBTQIA+ community deserves leaders who will fight for them, not use their identity as a culture war cudgel to inflate their personal egos and celebrity status.”

The difference between trump and kitara is one of scale. But also the democraps aren't running the rusty anvil biden against kitara and kitara doesn't help them in that regard. So your double-dealing democraps aren't keeping him around anymore, like they've been carrying trump in their arms for years.
