For Tuesday, I wrote a little something related to Oppenheimer so it's only fair that I give Barbie equal time. As you know, I'm always fair so here ya go.
Would you go see the Barbie movie this weekend? Not me, but the idea that it would piss off up to 74,000,000 Republicans does make it tempting. So, you may want to consider it because conservative assclowns across the country, lead by evangelicals and their fellow crackpots in Congress and on FOX "News" are all hissy fit mad about Barbie being "woke" somehow; so much so that "Ted" Cruz, who even admits to never having actually seen the movie, is all but threatening to hightail it out of the country again and I bet poor Lindsey Graham has already packed his 5 pairs of pink fluffy slippers in his pink valise and tossed them into his fireplace.
That's not all! Murdoch World's "Ilsa" Ingraham is fuming about Barbie being such a blockbuster in the Nazi Red States. She's feeling betrayed! That's just plain wrong in her book. What's a girl to do? "Ted" seems upset about some fuzzy cartoon map of Asia. Some Wacko named Ben Shapiro dressed up as Ken and went on a tirade in a 43 minute youtube video during which he threw a Barbie Doll into a barrel and set her afire along with a Ken doll and a pink Barbie car. There was no warning of "Don't Try This At Home" but you know some idiot will, and that's the point, isn't it?
Some Republicans seem to fear that Barbie holds some "feminist traits," you know, like in some sort of lesbo-commie kind of way. Some Republicans have even discovered that Barbie is played by transgender actor Hari Nef. Meanwhile, Ginger Gaetz aka Matt Gaetz's wife (the adult one) wants it every which way. Hinting that there may be some problems on the home front, she's bitching that Ken is obviously a low T guy and the movie doesn't represent "faith and family." Yeah, well neither does your marriage, or your dear ex-President Tumpanzee, Ginger, so piss off!
It's nice that barbie pisses off nazis. I'm only annoyed at it. I saw Oppenheimer. One of the best and most important films I've ever seen. But the lobby of the theatre was all pink and all barbie. Must've been $5000 worth of stuff there to advertise it. Oppy had a poster.
It's just another sign that the end must be near.
